Atlantic Soccer Academy is proud to present COPA FUTSAL at two locations this upcoming Winter!
Churchland High School will host U9-U14 age groups and U15-High School age groups, and The Kroc Hampton Roads Community Center will host U9-U14 age groups.
Futsal is recognized as the best option for player development. It is especially great for improving speed of play, technical skills, decision-making and fitness.
Futsal is the only indoor game sanctioned by FIFA. If skills development is important, futsal is recognized as clearly the best form of indoor soccer. But that’s not the only reason.
2018/19 COPA FUTSAL League
- Eight game season, games are 34 minutes in length made up of two 17 minute halves
- Roster size: Minimum = 8; Maximum = 10
- Team Cost: U19-U14 $55.00 per player, U15-High School $45.00 per player
- League play starts December 9, 2018
- Probable Play dates: Saturday and Sunday
- Matches scheduled starting at 8:30 am on Saturday and Sunday
- Schedule Requests - must be submitted by the league deadline of Nov. 30, 2018. Playing times can be requested but not guaranteed.
- Requests not to play your "sister" team are NOT able to be met in most cases. Schedules do change during the season due to school closings, team cancellations/conflicts, possible realignments. Email notification will be sent to all coaches, but coaches and teams must still view the schedule each week prior to their match to confirm.
